Here I'll post my notes for the first session's game summary. If Ken makes a summary of what happens in future games he can post them as well; if not then I'll continue to write down what I can afterwards and post it here.
It's quite possible that I will miss details, so if you see that I forgot something, feel free to point it out. Questions and comments are also very welcome.

Session 2: Saturday, Two March 29th
Here is what I have as my notes; feel free to add anything.
• The Halfling Milia creates food for us to eat in the morning when we wake up. • After breakfast we head back to Darromar which is about two days away. • No encounters the first day; however, Gorock (Tony) heads off to the south and I head West with Leon (Alex) and Vanemuine (Easter) because I think West is actually South. o Gorock ends up getting to the river and encounters a couple Ogres by the river. o He tries to reason with the Ogres by offering money and friendship. o The Ogre calls some buddies over so Gorock casts obscuring mists and decides to fight them. o Gorock summons a black bear to help him fight. o Gorock’s pet gorilla Patrick gets seriously hurt in the battle so Gorock attempts to run away with Patrick. • We head south finally and come to the river. We attempt to cross with some difficulty, but eventually we get across successfully. o Leon then heads back out 70 feet to get Vanemuine’s and Leon’s horse and pull them across the river successfully. o We finally get everything and everyone across the river and can continue to head southeast towards Darromar. o We camp at about 8 pm and have no encounters for the evening. o Next day we continue onto Darromar and reach it at night’s end. • Gorock stops in a town to rest at night and is about a day away from Darromar and next night reaches Darromar. • Gorock turns in the dragon statue to the guild without meeting us first. o The guild leader tells him to hold onto it until he rejoins with us. Gorock agrees and goes to find an inn to rest in for the night wait for us. • We meet up in the morning and turn in the statue together to get our guild membership. • We get access to the available quests and choose “River Boat Security,” and plan to do “Handle with Care” on the way back since they are both in the same vicinity of Myratma. • We were sent to talk to a man (Mortichai) that is part of Champions of Vigilance in Palace District. • Mortichai asks us to retrieve an egg that is a baby gryphon. • For the other mission we talk to a Halfling that sells furniture. He wants us to take a ship and escort his merchandise to another ship and make sure it gets there safely. • The next day I buy a greatsword and we get on the barge to head west. • The second day on the barge during watch Tyrrox and Leon notice lizard men getting onto the barge and a battle breaks out. • After the battle, we continue sailing for a couple days and are attacked by ogres and giants that run a chain across the river to stop the barge. o We end up having to fight these ogres and giants. • Session ends after this battle

XP awarded was 1,140 plus petition. Also, I believe Goroc was forced to change plans because he discovered the black bear was too much for him to summon with his spell. And the lizard men are sahuagin, and really more fish or shark people than lizards.

Session 3: Saturday, April 19th
On the morning of the 5th day on the barge more fish men attack us from the front.
After them two ogres and more goblins attack from approaching boats coming at the barge.
Finally a sea hag attacks along with the ogres and goblins. We barely kill the sea hag but eventually do and loot about 3572 worth of gold and gear.
After reaching our destination we find a cleric that is able to cure Leonard and Gorock who were dazed for three days by the sea hag in battle.
We turn in the quest (River Boat Security) after seeing the cargo safely aboard a ship getting an additional 1500 gold.
In the town Gorock buys his companion Patrick a wrestling outfit, and Leonard buys magical gloves.
Now we start the quest to return the gryphon egg safely back to Darromar by renting a carriage and horse.
An hour outside the city we are attacked by more goblins that Tyrrox and Patrick are able to kill.
During the 2nd night on Patrick's watch we are attacked by a rust monster that begins to eat any metal objects in Leonard's bag before we eliminate it.
The 3rd through 6th days and nights pass uneventful, but on the 7th day the gryphon egg hatches.
We feed the baby gryphon and turn him once we reach Darromar on the eleventh day to complete the quest (handle with Care) and get 2000 gold for doing so.
Now resting in Darromar till we start our next quests, Tyrrox attempts to find a woman in the town square to dance with and successfully does so. Gorrock hires a another prostitute, while Leonard rests at his house, and Vanemune goes to modern times where he sees predictions of what the future will be like.
We end up picking up two more quests that are relatively easy to complete. One involves dueling a guild member who will pay 1000 for losing the duel, and 2000 for winning the duel. Tyrrox, and Leonard are not able to beat the man who turns out to be a Warblade, but Gorrock and his companion Patrick are able to beat the man netting us a total of 4000 more gold between all the duels.
The other quest Tyrrox volunteers for and it involves Tyrrox attacking a wizard's butler while the wizard casts a spell on Tyrrox's weapon. Tyrrox uses a variety of weapons but the spell only seems to work on reach and two-handed weapons. The spell basically causes the weapon to bend around the attacker back and actually stab the attacker instead of the attacker's target.
Also during the experiment Gorrock annoys the wizard greatly by casting water over the wizard's head getting the wizard's scroll wet and by casting obscuring mist. The wizard returns by giving a book to Gorrock which when opened casts exploding ruins.
After the quest is completed, Tyrrox gets a crystal that he is able to put onto his weapon which adds 1 cold damage to his attack.
The session pretty much ends there then.

So, I'm finding it necessary to write my own summary as well, because I also have to keep track of things like who levels up, what new gear each character gets, and most of all, how the events affect my plans for what's going to happen.
That's no reflection on Ken's summaries, which I find very helpful to refer back to as I'm writing my own as it helps me keep details in the right chronological order and catch details I've forgotten about. And best of all, it means I can write my own summary the next day rather than having to stay up late to write it all down while it's still fresh in my mind.
Anyway, if you guys want I can still post my own notes as well, for supplementary detail. I don't want the whole thread here to become too messy and hard to read though, so if you guys don't want me to that's fine as well.

Session 3: Saturday, April 18, 2009
After escaping the giants’ chain on the river, the rest of the day passes uneventfully. However, on the fifth day of the barge’s travel, things get messy. First, four more sahuagin swim up to the barge and climb aboard.
While the party quickly dispatches them, a boat approaches from the front. An ogre is rowing the boat upstream toward them, while five goblins chuck javelins at the people on the barge. Most of the javelins fall short, but one or two find their mark. Tyrrox points behind the ogre and calls out a false warning about a kraken. The stupid ogre turns around, causing his boat to start drifting back down the river. While he’s looking the other way, Leon blasts him in the back of the head with an eldritch blast.
When the boat gets close enough to the barge, Patrick and Goroc leap across to the little boat, though not before Patrick takes a dip in the river. Meanwhile, Zook and his crocodile slip off the side of the barge and swim behind the boat, where they start attacking as well. The croc eats no fewer than three goblins over the course of the fight.
However, in the heat of battle, another boat catches up to the barge from behind. Five more goblins and an ogre disembark from it, as Tyrrox and Vanemuine turn to engage them. A couple of the goblins make their way over to Leon, and he takes them down.
While Vanemuine weakens the ogre and Tyrrox combats it, Goroc, Patrick, and Zook’s croc gang up on the other one and take it down. This leaves Leon as the only one who notices a hooded figure emerge from the water and step onto the barge. But Tyrrox and Vanemuine quickly notice the figure moving into flanking position as well.
Once all three of them can see it, the figure removes its hood, revealing the horrid visage of a sea hag. None of them are frightened by it, but the hag gives the Evil Eye to both Leon and the returning Goroc, dazing them and taking them out of the fight. But the overmatched hag is quickly forced back to the corner of the barge, where it leaps back into the water and tries to swim to safety. It casts its last Evil Eye attack at Zook’s crocodile, but the croc shakes off the effects and continues chasing after her, inflicting a painful bite on the hag.
The hag actually manages to outdistance the croc at first, until Vanemuine hits from afar with a fire spell, ending the hag once and for all. Zook’s croc retrieves the body and brings it back to the barge. The bodies of the hag and her minions are looted, revealing various kinds of coins, a scroll, a potion, and some gems. The unfortunate Leon and Goroc are still dazed from the fight, but they are sat down and fed by the others, especially Patrick who mashes up some bananas to feed to them.
Thankfully, the rest of the trip is uneventful and the barge arrives safely in Myratma the next day. While Zook and Tyrrox help unload the furniture and see it aboard the outbound ship, Vanemuine finds a cleric to cure Leon and Goroc of their condition. After this, the loot is divided. Leon pockets the scroll. The boats the ogres used are sold to the captain of an old merchant vessel for use as lifeboats. The gems (including the hag’s eye in a necklace) are sold to a dwarven jeweler named Chuglor Deepdraft. The platinum pieces found on the goblins are traded in for gold at the moneychanger next door, owned by Chuglor’s sister Chuglette. The weapons and armor are sold in bulk to an armory in town. And lastly, the group heads over to the Guild outpost to pick up their reward for the Riverboat Security job.
With his share of the money, Leon goes looking for a magic store. Since arcane magic is at a premium in Myratma, it takes him awhile before he finds a small shop. Inside, he is able to purchase a pair of magical gloves that boost his eldritch blast and allow him to add a small bit of elemental power to it as well.
Zook takes his leave of the others, choosing to remain in Myratma and do some missions on his own, especially since the group doesn’t give him a share of the gold.
Goroc finds a leatherworking shop, and orders up a custom suit for Patrick. The leatherworkers take Patrick’s measurements, and Goroc is able to get a leather wrestling outfit, complete with mask, for the gorilla.
When everyone has completed their various chores in town, they head to the address provided by Mordecai and pick up his gryphon egg. The merchant warns that he’s not sure when it might hatch, and tells them to keep it warm. Leon recommends they hire a carriage back to Darromar, as it would be a smoother ride than horseback. The others agree, and hire a carriage to take them.
Barely an hour outside of town, the carriage is attacked by a group of five goblins. One of them tries to steal one of the carriage horses, but the group makes short work of them. The next night, a rust monster wanders into camp and noses its way into Leon’s bag. There it munches on his flint and steel, and is about to start in on his few remaining gold coins when Leon wakes up, kills it with his eldritch blast, then tells the others they’re useless before going back to sleep.
The trip progresses uneventfully for nearly a week after that, until on the seventh day out of Myratma, the egg hatches. Tyrrox and Goroc debate what the baby gryphon would eat, and finally Tyrrox begins hunting small animals for it to feed on.
They reach Darromar after the eleven-day trip and turn the baby gryphon over to Mordecai. He is disappointed that he was unable to be present at the egg’s hatching, but thanks them anyway. They collect the reward from the Guild outpost, then separate and agree to meet up the next day.
Leon heads home and goes to sleep. Goroc returns to the Pearl Palace and gets another girl for companionship. This time he is fortunate enough not to contract any infections. He then retires to the Moneybags hotel for the night, and stays in their most expensive suite.
Tyrrox heads to town square, wanting to practice his dancing skills. He is able to persuade a woman to dance with him in the square, and she compliments his skills after the dance. One of the spectators takes up a collection and gives Tyrrox some silver after the performance. Vanemuine decides to catch a show, and finds a dinner theater called Modern Times, where the performers put on a futuristic show of what the world might be like in a few hundred years. Vanemuine finds the guns, horseless carriages, and such to be completely ridiculous, and laughs at the spectacle.
The next day, they all meet up at the Guild office. Two of the same quests are available, but they both involve tracking someone down and the trail is likely to have gone cold by now. So the group takes one of the other quests, a challenge by a fellow Guild member to a duel.
After accepting the duel, Tyrrox finds Cius Rahal, the wood elf who posted the request, waiting for him in the alley behind the Guild outpost. They square off, and Cius quickly defeats Tyrrox with lightning-quick slashes of his katana. Goroc challenges Cius, but he is unwilling to fight both the druid and his gorilla at the same time. So Leon challenges him as well. He is also quickly defeated by the wood elf.
Finally, Cius agrees to face Goroc and Patrick if he can receive some healing first. Goroc heals Cius’s wounds, then squares off. Patrick blocks Cius’s path to Goroc, and then grapples the elf to keep him from getting past. The combination proves too much for Cius, who hands over 1,000 gold each to Tyrrox and Leon, and double that to Goroc for his victory.
With that out of the way, the group heads back inside and takes another Guild mission, to assist a local wizard in his spell research. They are escorted by a man named Wilfred to the laboratory of a wizard named Egbert Mourgram. He has Tyrrox begin at one end of the room and charge at Wilfred (who has been dressed up in a thick, padded suit) with his lance. Before he can strike, the lance is hit by Egbert’s spell, and bends around to strike Tyrrox in the back.
Goroc decides to harass the wizard, and conjures some water to fall on him, which messes up the wizard’s notes. Egbert responds by getting Goroc to open a book, inside which is an explosive rune that blows up in the half-orc’s face. The druid responds by creating an obscuring mist to interfere with the experiment. Egbert digs around a desk until he finds a wand, with which he creates a gust of wind to disperse the fog.
The experiment continues, with Egbert giving Tyrrox various weapons to attack Wilfred with, testing on what kinds of weapons the Backbiter spell does and does not work. After awhile, a bruised and battered Tyrrox is happy when the experiment ends, and he receives a small blue crystal that, when attached to his weapon, causes it to deal a small amount of cold damage.

Session 4: Saturday, April 25th - Gorock tricks Tyrrox into going into a brothel to be "healed."
- Tyrrox runs out screaming and then gets Gorock to find a cleric to heal the party.
- Tyrrox goes outside of town to hunt for dinner, and everyone basically does their own thing in town.
- Gorock picks up some guild missions including "You Burn it you Bought it."
- Outisde town Vanemuine and I go hunting and end up fighting five goblins and then finish eating.
- Gorock continues on his search for the quests to figure out who set the inn on fire.
- Gorock talks to the dwarf in a tavern who directs him to finding the man that burnt the inn down.
- Gorock then ends up wrestling the informant dwarf with Patrick before leaving on his own outside of town.
- In the morning we meet at the guild and figure out that Gorock is already off trying to complete a mission.
- Leon, Vanemuine, and Tyrrox accept a guild mission to find a bride to be that has gone missing. Hilda, her name, went to see her sister east half a days away. Her sister's name is Helga.
- Leon, Vanemuine, and Tyrrox get to Helga's house with no encounters.
- The house is very large and elegant. Once entering we talk to Helga. She says Hilda never came to her house.
- On his way, Gorock gets attacked by a group of hyena-like creatures and is taken down.
- Patrick kills the hyenas and pulls Gorock off the side of the road.
- As Leon, Vanemuine, and Tyrrox leave Helga's house they see a man watching them in the distance, so we follow him as best as we can. Unfortunetely we lose track of him, so we continue looking for Hilda or a sign of her.
- We see a barn as we are searching.
- Upon searching the barn we are attacked by a man who was hiding from the horse stahls.
- Another man jumps down from the rafters and he is actually the man we saw outside trying to hide from us. There is also some sort of a spellcaster hiding on the second floor of the barn.
- We successfully defeat the group and free Hilda whom they had kidnapped.
- Finally we take the horses from the barn that the rival group had stolen from town, and head back to the town.
- Back in town we turn in the "Runaway Bride" quest and the "Missing Horses" quest.
- We get a canteen that slowly refills with water automatically for the runaway bride quest and 700 gold for the horse quest.
- Gorock officially dies overnight by choking on a bananna that patrick tried to feed him.
- In the morning Leon and Tyrrox look through all the gear they looted that wasn't worth keeping and sell it.
- Through a series of comedic tryouts the group hires a replacement group member for Gorock.
- Tony's new character is the winning tryout member.

I modified my notes to make them a little easier to read by getting rid of the bullets and numbering and inserting more spacing. Seems Proboards doesn't really support the Microsoft Word numbering format system.
Session 5: Sunday, May 25th
Torgath discovers that he has a guild license after all so we decide to look at the newly added guild missions and take the Substitute Testers and Find me a Lawyer missions.
Leon decides to research for the lawyer mission and the rest of us decide to do the testers mission.
Test the Initiates Mission: In order to do the tester mission we have to be interviewed by the guild president and he has to accept us. Dante Hicks, the guild clerk, gives us a piece of paper that we have to give to the president to let us know that Dante sent us.
The president’s office is actually in a very nice part of the town with an actual silver shield on the building.
Once getting into the building a secretary shows us to Matthias Youngblood, the guild president. Matthias asks us how many missions we have completed and accepts us as being qualified.
Matthias tells us that we will be running the test to initiate prospective guild members for this mission. There are two groups we are testing.
We cannot let the prospective members know that the mission is staged.
We cannot kill prospective guild members.
Do not loot the prospective guild members at any time.
We are also supposed to ask the group that is being tested to rest in the cabin regardless of passing or failing the test.
The mission, as the initiates understand it, is that some bandits (us) stole a dragon statue and it is the initiate’s job to get the statue back.
After the mission is over we are to send a scroll back to the guild regarding the status of the mission and any recommendations and/or comments.
We grab Leon so that he can help us with the mission read and sign the scrolls.
After everyone is there Matthias calls in Milia, the Halfling that we fought for our guild initiation mission. She explains that we will be doing her job for a few days while she handles family business. While we are doing her job we will have complete access to her cabin to stay in.
Milia then teleports us to her cabin in wait of the initiation groups that are coming.
We prepare for the group and wait for them to come and spend the night in the cabin and when the morning comes Vanemuine and Tyrrox wait outside the cave while Torgath and Leon wait inside the cave.
The first group consists of a dwarf, human, fire genasi, and an elf ranger.
After a little bit into the battle Vanemuine, Leon, and I fall over faking we are unconscious. Torgath runs back into the cave and threatens to break the statue if they don’t tell him why they are here.
Torgath tosses them the statue and congratulates them on passing the test. Torgath then offers them to stay in the cabin to rest.
The group consists of:
Garak is the dwarf fighter leader of the group who is wearing Dwarf Battle Plate.
Shula is the human Dragon Shaman.
Rand is the Fire Genasi.
Kirkis is the elf Ranger.
The next day the party takes their leave with the statue and we prepare for the coming of the second group.
The second group doesn’t come for 3 full days.
On the fourth day I go out to search for the group because we are starting to wonder why they aren’t here yet.
I do run into a group after 2 hours:
A female gnome ranger named Bobo with a double-ended hammer.
A savage looking elf barbarian named Faelar with a big axe.
A big burly half orc monk named Garm with no visible weapon.
And in the back is a female human rogue named Helena looking around.
I yell “oh no,” and run away so that they follow me.
I head back to the cave and take positions with the group and get ready to fight.
Once the group gets to the cave we start the battle with them.
The group hits very hard and actually deals a lot of damage and Leon faints rather quickly to avoid getting killed.
Tyrrox gets attacked from the back by the Gnome and punts her backwards with a hoof attack.
Tyrrox attacks the elf once more and order the battle to stop and say that the test has ended.
Vanemuine repeats what I said and the elf sits down in exhaustion.
We then patch everyone up and offer the group to rest in the cabin before heading back to turn in the statue.
We walk back to the city with the other party starting the next day.
At the river we eventually find a row boat that allows everyone to cross the river successfully after Torgath jumps off his axe that I hold and fling him forward as he glides across.
However, Torgath had to help float me across in the boat while freezing the water because I am so heavy.
Find me a Lawyer Mission: Shane Turlington is the client that Leon is supposed to be defending.
Leon greets the guard of the prison, Joe.
This is the man that we put in jail last session. Shane is the rogue that sneak attacked Leon at the beginning of the fight.
Leon mentions that he can’t legally defend Shane because he would likely be called as a witness in the case, so he decides to pass the mission onto his friend, who is also a lawyer named Kingston.
Kingston decides to take the case, but says that Leon owes him big time.
Back in Darromar Leon takes the diamond that he received as a prize for finishing the Lawyer mission to the Dwarven district to sell it for 6000 gold after haggling the price for the diamond up to the 6000 from the original 4000 gold price. We also got 2000 gold along with a rod of bodily injury restoration for the Substitute Testers mission.
Leon then heads over to Vance’s magic emporium to have Vance make him place an enchantment (Chausible Felpower) on his necktie.
Tyrrox and Vanemuine dance in the town square and then I go into the Money Bags inn and try various types of alcohol. I get drunk after three drinks and Vanemuine convinces me to go to Modern Times when I’m drunk.
At this modern times show they talk about flying machines like helicopters.
Torgath goes to a Dwarven tavern to drink and accidently drinks the gutbuster drink that is strong by even Dwarf standards.
After a few days of rest we decide to pick up a mission until the trial date come for Shane in 20 some days.
We decide to take the “You burn it you bought it” mission in which we have to track down a drunken adventurer that burnt down a tavern during the spring festival.
You Burn it You Bought it Mission: Firstly we head to the tavern, The Verdant Spiral, and talk to the owner to try to gather as much information as we possibly can.
The owner, Haleth Weiss , is a half elf who tells us that the night the place burnt down their were guild hires for security and one customer got particularly rowdy and was telling a story and drew his flaming warhammer and set several tables, a wall and more on fire.
Yorick is one of the guards from that night that is still on guard duty in the city as well as Skrugg, a half orc, and Bazz Stoneblaster, a dwarf, and both may or may not still be in town. All three were the security on duty the night the tavern burned down.
We wait for Yorick to show up for work and begin to question him about that night at the tavern.
Yorick tells us that the man that caused this was actually a male half-orc that was big, smelly, wore animal skins, and had a big flaming warhammer.
Torgath decides to go look for Bazz, and ends up getting drunk in the Dwarven district again on the gutbuster.
Skrugg is in and out of town so we have to ask at the guild and see if they know where he is.
Since Skrugg is out of town we decide to find Bazz, who Torgath actually finds first in the Dwarven district.
Bazz tells us that the half orc is named Morg and he headed north to the Wealdeath forest.
We gear up and start to head north to the forest to find Bazz.
During the first night we are watched by a hobgoblin but he never attacks or approaches us.
Second day we travel and realize that it has been about a month since it last rained.
During the third day we travel and it goes uneventful and we find a stone bridge and cross it and end the session there.

Ok here is what I have.
Session 6: Sunday, June 7, 2009 We cross the stone bridge at about 5 PM.
As traveling, we notice a hobgoblin watching us from about 150 feet trying to hide, but is failing to do so.
Leon fires a blast at the hobgoblin killing it.
After that, several more appear out of the forests and charge towards the bridge with Krenshars that they have leashed.
During battle we hear a large roar coming from the river, but there is nothing to see. Leon assumes it is an illusion by Leon.
The hobgoblins eventually release the Krenshars to charge us.
Then two giants from across the bridge in front of us begin to throw boulders at us.
Tyrrox kills the first two approaching Krenshars and Vanemuine and Tyrrox continue to take out the remaining Krenshars and hobgoblins, while Torgeth and Leon attack the giants; who are singing we may be giants.
Leon does eventually see a ripple in the water, midway in the battle.
Torgeth is attacked by an invisible foe, but notices it because the creature drips water as it climbs from the river. It turns visible after attacking, and is a green hag.
We are able to kill everyone except on giant that surrenders and the hag who turns invisible and runs away.
We find 6 chain shirts, 6 long swords, 200 gold, and other random gear as well as 300 gold, a fan to fan yourself, a wand, and a helmet in one giant’s bag, and 300 gold, a non-functional ceremonial dagger with a ruby in it and is made of electrum metal in the other giant’s bag.
The third night goes uneventful and on the fourth day we get an early start and head into the forest to find Morg.
Shortly after entering the forest we are confronted by a pack of Gnolls. Torgeth tries to convince them to tell us where they last saw Morg.
After convincing them they tell us Morg was with a group of elves after killing a bunch of Gnolls. The Gnoll party agrees to lead us to the outpost he is supposedly located at.
After getting us relatively close to the outpost, the Gnolls then turn on us and attack us.
After Vanemuine falls, Leon throws him on my back and I run towards the outpost screaming for help.
The elves do indeed answer the call and help us to kill off the Gnoll party.
However, Leon and Torgeth also get taken down during the battle.
After battle, we are put in a healing room and allowed to heal. The elves refuse to talk to us until we are all healed up and conscious.
Once we are all healthier, Tyrrox goes and finds the male and female elf that helped us in battle and explain to them why we were in the forest. The elves are named Runloth and Sharmista. Sharmista is a half elf and it’s interesting because half elves are not liked at all in this elf community.
They tell us that Morg was actually in the outpost as a prisoner because he set the forest on fire.
He did, however, escape and now the elves are looking to find Morg too.
The elves agree to give us his weapon after they find him so we can bring the weapon back to sell to help repair the inn that Morg burnt down.
Eventually a cleric comes and heals us back to full.
Once healed, we do head off and begin to search for Morg.
Torgeth climbs into a tree and does indeed see smoke coming in the distance indicating the direction that Morg was heading.
So after Torgeth tells us the direction he saw us, we head in that direction as Runloth guides us.
As we move on we get closer and can eventually smell smoke and see bodies of Gnolls.
We do come up to Morg at the river and indeed get into a battle with him because he refuses to come peacefully, as expected.
We actually knock out Morg in battle fairly easy in order to bring him back alive for interrogation and what not.
Torgeth jumps on Morg’s bull and tries to ride it for a while, getting thrown off every time eventually. Loot-wise we find 600 gold, a change of dirty clothes, alcohol, a bag of mystery meat, his fiery maul (massive hammer).
We are escorted out of the forest with four other elves and have no encounters on the way out.
We reach the bridge of the river easily enough after exiting the forest about 5 PM.
We are currently on the evening of the seventh day during this mission.
The seventh night passes uneventful with no encounters.
We get back into town two days later after spending nine days on the mission in total.
Once in Darromar, we return to the inn, but first are forced to try to sell the hammer for the gold to pay to fix the inn at Lance’s.
Leon is able to get 6000 gold for the inn and then goes to pick up his necktie magic item from Vance’s shop.
Tyrrox and Vanemuine go to the Money Bags hotel and drink. Vanemuine drinks one drink, and is only slightly affected, but Tyrrox gets smashed after three drinks and falls over unconscious.
Torgeth went to the Gem Cutter and drinks about 8 drinks and finally falls out unconscious.
Leon goes and talks more with Helena, and Leon mentions that we are heading to Myratma to meet Torgeth’s cousin and there aren’t any current guild missions, so it is something to do.
Tyrrox ends up running out of the inn and breaks a part of the wall down screaming for everyone to be quiet because he is hung over from the night before.
Eventually after selling the dragon armor from Morg, we get a barge that will take us west. It does indeed take days to get down the river on the barge.

The only thing I have to add is that you fought a green hag this time, which is different than a sea hag. It's ranked at a slightly higher challenge rating despite the fact that the sea hag is the one that has the instant death ability.

Ah yes thanks for pointing that out. I wrote that before I knew exactly what type of hag she was, and forgot to go back and change it.

Session 7
Saturday, June 20th, 2009 Leon heads home before we leave to check his mail and sees a man standing outside his house knocking on his door. The man gives Leon an envelope. It’s a subpoena to testify in court six days from now. The man then also finds Vanemuine and Tyrrox to also give them their subpoena and have them sign it.
For the case the prosecuting lawyer is named Perrault Llanistaph, and Kingston Moonnshadow as the defense attorney and the Magistrate is Edmure Samar. We are told that we will basically have to skip out on the river mission with the other group because the court case is coming up in about 6 days. I go out into the forest to get out of the town, while Leon heads over to the other group to tell them that we will not be able to go with them.
Tyrrox spends most of the time outside of town in the forest while others do random things to pass time. While out in the forest Faeller the wild elf barbarian runs around me shouting that he is free and also is not wearing any clothes. Torgeth ends up going with the other party ahead to Myratma while Helena stays back with us while we go to the trial. In the remaining time waiting Leon and Helena continue with combat training.
The trial commences finally and Leon, Vanemuine, and Tyrrox are called as witnesses. Leon is called up first. Leon starts by telling his side of the story of what happened beginning with the “Runaway Bride” mission. After Leon’s testimony with Perrault, the defense, Kingston gets up to question Leon. Kingston more or less tries to get the idea across that the defendant (Shane) was defending himself and that the horses might have been purchased legally, for all the defendant knew. Finally, Kingston tries to get across that Leon held a grudge against the defendant and the defendant’s group. After that Leon steps down from the stand and Tyrrox goes up to the stand. Tyrrox retells the story in the same way that Leon told and answers similar questions. Afterwards Vanemuine gets on stand and does the same thing as Leon and Tyrrox. The next witness after us is Hilda, who tells her story about how she was grabbed off the road and how we rescued her and how the Tiefling seemed to fall in love with her. Once again Kingston tries to get the message across that the defendant had nothing to do with the kidnapping and that the defendant was only doing his job. Next the wizard is called onto stand that was fighting us along with the defendant. The wizard tells the group that the Tiefling got everyone in trouble and the defendant had nothing to do with it. The cleric is called next on stand that is sworn in not on his deity, who is a deity of war and plunder. Kingston basically tries to paint the cleric as a thief more or less that stole the horses. The Tiefling is called to stand next. The Tiefling says that he was trying to convince the people that he was trying to convince Hilda that he was the man for her not Bruno, and he needed to sit her down and convince her of it. The Tiefling tries to say that the whole thing was a group effort. Finally Shane the defendant is called to stand and he says that he purchased the horses legally from a man on the streets. He also says that he didn’t discover the kidnapping till after it happened and before he could do anything about it we came in so he had to fight to defend his friends. He claims he would have let Hilda go later on if he had the chance. Shane makes it seem like they just got the horses a few days ago but the wizard’s testimony suggest that they have had the horses for quite some time now. The judge finally rules that Shane was guilty of stealing the horses but not of kidnapping because he seemed to have nothing to do with the kidnapping. Shane is fined 2200 gold and imprisoned for 10 days for failing to release Hilda when he discovered the kidnapping.
After the trial, Leon and Helena head down to the docks hoping to find a barge to take us down the river to meet up with the group that went ahead of us about 6 or 7 days ago. Leon talks to the captain and finds out that he is indeed heading down the river to where we are going. The boat is getting ready to leave in about 2 to 3 hours. It seems that the other group left Faeller behind so we decide to take him to Myratma with us. Vanemuine seems to be fishing in wells for gold while waiting for us to leave.
The boat we are on is actually a sail boat and goes much faster than a barge. Fuck. I wake up to watch at night with Faeller sleeping next to Tyrrox saying that he is free. Faeller is the third watch and also nothing happens concluding an uneventful night. In the morning Leon spots several splashes coming from bow of the ship. Tyrrox begins to fire arrows towards the splashes while everyone else prepares for battle from whatever is approaching the boat. After several spot checks we end up discovering that we are fighting a river Kraken. The battle consists of a lot of grapple checks from the squid which are practically impossible to overcome. Vanemuine weakens the squid’s strength quite a bit in order to help us but the squid is insanely powerful and it just isn’t possible to overcome the beast physically. Both Leon and Tyrrox are pulled off of the ship by the Kraken into the water. Faeller, who jumped into the water at the beginning of the battle is also entangled in the Kraken’s tentacles with Leon and Tyrrox and is getting severely constricted to death. Eventually Vanemuine’s magic and Leon’s Eldritch Blasts kill the monster. The few onboard pull everyone back onboard. Faeller tries to pull the Kraken onboard but fails horribly because of the creature’s massive size and weight.
The rest of the day goes uneventful, as well as the night’s watches.
The final day of this journey goes uneventful and we reach port successfully. Once on the shore we look at a map of the area in Faerun and Leon asks a sailor about some neighboring islands. Once night comes Leon tells Helena that Vanemuine will teach her the ways of sword fighting (Swashbuckler). She agrees to later, but not tonight. We first agree to go look for the other group members and secure lodging for the night.
Vanemuine does some searching and finds out that the group is staying at the Gambling Ghost Inn. Leon and Tyrrox end up searching for lodging within Myratma and discover that the absolute best inn in the city is the Efreeteum; we also here of the Gambling Ghost Inn. Quality-wise they are relatively equal, but the Gambling Ghost is slightly cheaper. We decide to head to the Gambling Ghost Inn and end up running into Helena and Vanemuine. Upon entering the inn we see a sign being posted that says “20 minutes,” and the other group with Torgeth sitting in a corner drinking, eating, and resting. They explain that they completely forgot about Faeller and didn’t even notice him missing. When we ask what the sign means, no one but Torgeth knows, but he won’t tell us and only says that “We’ll see.” I go to pay for the rooms for our group for two nights. After Leon forces Tyrrox to get four rooms and pay for them, Tyrrox goes up to Helena and tells her that Leon is married to a woman named Sue. Tyrrox then gives three keys to Helena and walks out. Leon then explains to Helena that he really isn’t married and that he has only said that to avoid confusing Tyrrox further. Once food arrives Tyrrox re-enters and begins to wait with the rest of the group for the event to occur; whatever that event is.
The event starts by a chair, a deck of cards, and a platinum bar appearing in front of Vanemuine. What is going in is that a ghost has appeared who wants to gamble with a random person in the room and the ghost chose Vanemuine for this evening. The ghost bets a platinum bar, and Vanemuine is expected to match the bet with a platinum bar. Vanemuine does agree to gamble and actually ends up winning. The result of winning is that Vanemuine gets to keep his platinum bar and the ghost’s bar, but Vanemuine is expected to buy a round of ale for everyone in the establishment. Also when the ghost loses it fills everyone’s mugs with dirty water before the round of ale is poured. If Vanemuine were to have lost he would have lost both platinum bars, but the ghost would then buy everyone in the inn a round of drinks. Obviously this is how the inn got its name.
Leon and Helena get a bottle of Genie juice. Leon gets buzzed and Helena gets knocked out entirely from it. Of course they drink it in their room though. Tyrrox drinks a little in the inn as well before heading to bed. Of the available drinks are the Slimy White, Genie Juice, the Filibuster, the Crackling Kraken, the Flip, etc. After a few drinks Tyrrox heads upstairs slightly intoxicated and ends up going into Leon and Helena’s room demanding it is his room and forces Leon and Helena’s room into Tyrrox’s room. Once in Tyrrox’s room, Leon thinks the bed is a giant mushroom that is telling him to come to sleep on it, so Leon hides in a corner weeping with Helena. In the morning Tyrrox discovers that he accidentally broke Leon’s bed and goes back into his room where Leon and Helena are and forces them back into their room with the broken bed. Faeller comes running out of his room proud and only wearing a bed sheet.
Once downstairs I try to convince the inn owner that the shenanigans from the night were actually Leon’s fault and not Tyrrox’s but the bluff fails and Tyrrox agrees to pay for the broken bed in Leon’s room. Eventually Leon and Helena are moved into my room while the bed is estimated in value and replaced. Leon eventually wakes up and hears hammering coming from a room across the hall. Downstairs Vanemuine is teaching Tyrrox how to play cards. Leon splashes the remainder of the Genie Juice in Tyrrox’s face and attempts to search for everyone else, who all seemed to have left the inn. Torgeth is still in the inn drinking and it’s questionable whether he has actually gone to bed or not.

Session 8 Saturday, July 11th, 2009
When Leon comes down the stairs he now has black eyes with red dots and shadowy wings appear to appear from his shoulders. Tyrrox confronts Leon about his appearance and Leon doesn’t seem to be aware of his appearance. Torgeth doesn’t seem to have slept all night and has been up drinking all night. Leon continues to mess with his wings and appearance. Leon then tries to find Helena and Faelar and try to take Faelar shopping for clothes. Torgeth decides to fall asleep in his seat at the inn.
Tyrrox decides to go find Chuglor and maybe try to find some work. Leon ends up going to the guild of this town to try to find work. Leon is stopped by several people along the way by salesmen on the street selling various things. The area is very Arabic-like in appearance and style. Eventually Leon gets to the guild and asks about any available missions. The guild keeper pulls out a chalk board with the various available missions on it. Leon decides to take the Catch me a monster mission which requires us to catch Owlbears either actual creatures or eggs. As we get to Chuglor’s a window is broken and on the wall is written, “Come outside from the east gate.” It seems that the hag’s eye and jewels have been stolen. Chuglor is in there with his wife and apparently this has happened between noon and 3 pm today. Tyrrox tells Chuglor that he will help him and then heads off to find Leon and get Torgeth before heading outside the east gate.
Tyrrox, Vanemuine, and Leon eventually cross each other in the street and share the news about the guild mission and the hag attack on Chuglor’s throat in order to wake him up. Torgeth eventually wakes up upon hearing that we will be getting a huge reward for completing the quest, but heads off in the wrong direction. After realizing he went the wrong direction we all head off towards the east gate to find these hags.
Upon getting to the gate we hear a dagger go flying into a building behind us. Once we get to the east gate, which is rather large we see that the gate is open and there are guards. Tyrrox exits the gate through the city first. Tyrrox searches and listens for anything. At first a wagon moves along the road, but passes without anything strange or out of the ordinary. Eventually Tyrrox does see a women and a shorter person wearing a cloak walking down the road. The woman is abnormally large; well over 7’ tall and the “short” person is actually average height for a human. The other person is a human male with a big build and does have a big sword hanging from his side. Tyrrox moves out of the way as does Leon as the two walk by. The two end up passing us by and then Torgeth asks what their business is. The tall woman points towards the road behind us and we see several hobgoblins walking towards us with weapons drawn.
A battle starts between us and the hobgoblins. Shortly after the battle starts a dagger goes flying by Leon and hits Torgeth in the back as a hobgoblin attacks him. Several other hobgoblins charge Tyrrox and get slaughtered from his lance by doing so. We then hear wings flapping above the group. We also hear the cloaked man with the tall woman unsheathing his large sword and attacks Vanemuine for a lot. The hobgoblins start to throw javelins at Tyrrox as they realize charging is a bad idea. On Tyrrox’s first turn he charges a hobgoblin and hits it in the eye killing it and heaving the corpse behind him. Vanemuine hits the cloaked man that attacked him very hard cutting off his ear in the process. Upon his second action, Leon figures out that he has the ability to fly and begins to do so using his shadowy wings. He heads up into the air to attack the Harpy that is about 100 feet above us. The Harpy begins to sing, but the only creatures affected are the hobgoblins. As the tall women moves she drops her illusion and it becomes obvious that she is a hideous hag. She takes a swipe at Torgeth with her claw taking a decent chunk out of him. Torgeth screams at the hag as he notices that she is wearing a jewel that is from Chuglor’s shop. The hag takes another massive slice at Torgeth doing massive damage and taking another chunk out of him. Vanemuine casts ray of enfeeblement on the hag to weaken her strength. Leon casts an eldritch blast at the Harpy blasting her out of the sky unconscious. The hag then knocks Torgeth out and proceeds to attack Tyrrox by grappling him. Leon goes after the last hobgoblin, and Vanemuine goes after the hag as well with his firebolt. Tyrrox gets in several deadly blows with his greatsword after dropping his lance and shield. Eventually after a very tough battle we are able to take everything down including the hag.
It seems that the hag had the hag eye on her as a necklace that Leon picks up and throws at me. The hag also had various jewels from Chuglor’s shop, several alchemist fire potions, a crossbow, and a Morningstar. Tyrrox also loots various gear, weapons, armor from the hobgoblins. We then head back to Chuglor’s as Tyrrox is carrying a lot of gear and Torgeth who is still unconscious on his back. At the store Chuglor tells us where there is a church that we can take the unconscious Torgeth to be healed and then promptly bring him back to Chuglor’s store. Chuglor then has a discussion with Torgeth about what happened to him as well as to sell the platinum bars to Chuglette. Leon and Tyrrox head over to a weapon smith to sell the weapons and armor we picked up. Leon and Tyrrox continue onto an armor smith and place an order for full plate armor for a large sized centaur that is made from Mithril. Torgeth goes around town trying to serenade Bobo the Gnome by playing a harp, but is doing so very badly.
Leon and Tyrrox head to the inn and inform them that we are leaving on a mission in the Forest of Mir in order to find Owlbears for the guild mission. Torgeth has one drink from a half bottle of Genie Juice. The drink has an affect on him and it takes him to a magical land full of rock candy where he is eaten by a rock candy man and then falls into blackness passing out. While Torgeth is doing this, Leon and Tyrrox buy a carriage and several heavy war horses to travel to the forest for the guild mission. After an hour Leon heads back to the inn and sees Torgeth lying unconscious on the floor of the inn with blue smoke coming out of his mouth and ears and rock candy is falling out of his mouth. Leon and Vanemuine carry Torgeth to the carriage and we prepare to leave. It is about 7 pm when we leave. Once night comes Tyrrox takes first watch and we continue to move while the others sleep and Tyrrox uses handle animal to guide the horses. We travel on the second day without any encounters. We are traveling for 16 hours straight so we are taking forced march penalties but it gets us to our destinations much faster.
The 1st night passes uneventful. The 2nd day of travel passes uneventful and the 2nd night’s watches also pass uneventful. The 3rd day also passes uneventful and the forced march continues to take a toll on Tyrrox and the horses pulling the carriage. The 3rd night’s watch passes uneventful and Torgeth goes off and hunts for rabbits and cooks them with a fire he creates. The 4th day goes uneventful, and the 4th night also goes uneventful. The 5th day we rest for the entire day to regain our strength and it passes uneventful. The 5th night passes uneventful as well. The 6th day passes uneventful and the 6th night something big flies across the moon very high and actually blocks it out before moving on. The 7th day passes uneventful and the 7th night the group begins to notice different animal sounds as we have begun to enter the forest which is obviously a different environment.
We head into the forest to try to find young Owlbears and do find three young ones in a cave sleeping. We end up subduing the three, but do run into the mother Owlbear running out of the cave. Torgeth and Vanemuine head back to the carriage with the young Owlbears, while Tyrrox stays behind to deal with the mother Owlbear. Tyrrox easily knocks out the Owlbear while still taking several claws and bites from her. Once she is subdued Tyrrox heads off back to the carriage with the rest of the group.

Session 9
Saturday July 18th, 2009
While Torgeth, Vanemuine, and Tyrrox are heading back to the camp with the three Owlbears, Leon who is back at the carriage, spots something vaguely moving in the woods and hears knocking on the opposite side of the carriage. Leon turns around to see a female centaur by him. The centaur asks Leon what he is doing and Leon explains that he and his friends are hunting in the forest. The female centaur demands that Leon comes with her. When Vanemuine, Torgeth, and Tyrrox return to camp they notice that Leon is missing but the carriage is still there in perfect shape. Tyrrox does notice that there appears to be another set of centaur tracks in the camp. However the centaur appears to have hidden their tracks well and Tyrrox and Vanemuine are forced to turn back to the camp and wait.
Eventually Leon is brought to a clearing where there are several more centaurs including an older centaur who appears to be the leader of this tribe of centaurs. The female centaur explains the Leon seems to know the older centaur’s son. The older centaur introduces himself as Kezzryn and says that Leon will have to wait here until the rest of his group is found.
After a couple hours of waiting Vanemuine and Tyrrox go back to searching for Leon as no one has returned to the camp. At that a female centaur named Tanis steps in front of Tyrrox without him seeing or noticing. Tanis tells Tyrrox of the clearing they are in and then tells us to claim our human; Leon. It takes us about an hour to reach this clearing and it indeed is my tribe that is resting there.
Tyrrox spots a young centaur about 13 that he had good relations with; Timoth and he is my cousin. Timoth is a good kid but he tends to make fun of Tyrrox a lot and thinks he will one day be head druid because I left.
Eventually Tyrrox does spot Kezzryn talking to Tanis, so Tyrrox walks up to him. Kezzryn invites the group to sleep the night with the centaur tribe and tells Tyrrox that he has something to tell him but that it can wait until the morning. However, Tyrrox walks up to Tanis and asks why the hunters seem to be on a tighter patrol than they usually are. It seems that Drider have been attacking the centaurs and its unsure why. Tyrrox then goes up to his father and asks him more about the Driders. It seems that the Driders have only been attacking for about ten days. Kezzryn asks Tyrrox if he and his companions wouldn’t mind helping with the Drider problem. Tyrrox and Vanemuine do indeed agree to help with the problem in the morning.
Once morning comes we all awaken after a full night of sleep. The night passes without any problems from the Driders and Kezzryn heals everyone in the group to full H.P. Torgeth explains to the group that Driders are poisonous and are cursed Drow that usually live underground. They hate Drow and they like to ambush their foe and they almost always have some sort of magic in their arsenal and tend to resist magic attacks. Tyrrox talks with Kezzryn and tells him that him and his group will go out as a hunting party to get rid of as many Drider as possible.
Tyrrox and Vanemuine seem to notice that this forest does not suffer from the lack of rain that the rest of Tether suffers from.
Our group begins to head out into the forest and search for these Driders to get rid of. Eventually we do find the corpse of a badger rapped up in a web hanging from a tree. We do see movement above us in a tree branch upon searching after seeing the body of the badger.
The battle starts with Tyrrox shooting the Drider in the tree, but misses. Leon then shoots his blast at the spider and hits. The spider proceeds to move down the tree and go behind it out our line of sight. Tyrrox then drops his bow and draws his greatsword and slashes at the Drider and hits it extremely hard. Leon then fires an electricity blast at the Drider completely knocking it out. We find out that this Drider had about 1900 gold on it.
Upon heading to a second cave Tanis comes out and tells us that she just killed the Drider that was inside it.
The third cave reveals another Drider hiding on the roof of the cave, and Tyrrox is the only one to see it. Tyrrox waves his fan of gusting towards the Drider in hopes that it will knock it off of the ceiling as the Drider turned invisible upon its turn. Leon fires a couple random blasts at where he thinks the Drider is at. Eventually Leon spots the Drider and shouts out to us where it is and moves. Vanemuine launches a firebolt at the Drider and then Tyrrox charges the Drider doing massive damage and practically knocking the Drider off of the wall. This time we find a belt, a bag with dust in it, and a spoon that all are magic in the cave.
As we continue to search we run into a centaur that Tyrrox doesn’t recognize. The centaur’s name is Ralos. Ralos is also searching for Driders to kill. We ask Ralos if he has seen any Owlbears, and he points in a direction and then wishes us luck, pats Tyrrox on his back, and does 4 wisdom damage to him.
Upon searching in the direction that Ralos pointed we discover an elf hanging upside down from a tree all wrapped up in webbing. It turns out that Vanemuine recognizes the elf, which was named Mourn, and it turns out that Mourn was a reasonably competent woodsman. Leon does manage to find a cave and we decide to investigate for the Drider that killed the elf. As Tyrrox turns to leave the cave, he is hit in the back with a ray of enfeeblement and takes 5 strength damage.
As the battle commences Leon fires a blast at the Drider and it seems to do nothing. As Tyrrox charges the Drider he misses it by just a little bit. Vanemuine proceeds to run up and attack the Drider but misses the Drider after jumping off of Tyrrox. The Drider then proceeds to trap Vanemuine and Tyrrox with webbing, but Leon burns the webbing off of Tyrrox. Tyrrox tries to slash at the Drider with his greatsword but fails once again at hitting the spidery creature. The Drider then lightning bolts Tyrrox for a decent amount of damage. Leon then uses a rod of lesser of restoration to restore Tyrrox’s strength damage. Tyrrox charges up at the Drider but yet again misses. Tyrrox moves into position and slashes the Drider hitting it for the first time this battle. Vanemuine continues to be entangled by the Drider’s webbing. The Drider proceeds to move away from Tyrrox and tries to cast a spell but fails the concentration check so Leon gets a free smack from his mace to do massive damage clubbing the Drider extremely hard. Finally Tyrrox gets one last slash in cutting the Drider’s belly open and ultimately, killing it. We end up finding 1300 gold on this Drider and then proceed to bury the Elves’ body outside the cave.
Upon searching a final time we find a fourth cave that seems to be a big burrow in the ground. Leon goes first because he has more hit points and can see invisibility. However this cave is occupied by an Owlbear. Leon fires a blast at it and the Owlbear attempts to attack back at Leon and fails to do so. Vanemuine fires a blast at the Owlbear and also hits it doing decent fire damage. Tyrrox attempts to charge the Owlbear and misses horribly. The Owlbear attempts to slash and bite at Leon but fails in all attempts. Vanemuine charges at the Owlbear and just hits his target jabbing it right in the spine and the electricity fries the Owlbear to cinders. After that we search the cave and find three Owlbear eggs.
After this we return to the camp of Centaurs and report that we were able to kill three Driders. In all, Kezzryn reports that his two dozen hunters killed about 19 Driders in total.
Leon goes up to Tanis and asks her if she has ever seen Ralos before. Tanis says that she doesn’t know of any Centaur that would act like this but the description could be any of several Centaurs.
Leon and Tyrrox tend to argue a little bit about shananigans that took place at the inns. Tanis asks me about the Centaur that attacked me, but unfortunately Ralos is a very plain looking Centaur. Also Ralos does not seem to be among any of the Centaurs in the tribe.
Tyrrox and Leon and Tanis go up to Tyrrox’s dad Kezzryn and explain Ralos’ description, but sadly Kezzryn does not recognize him. It also seems that my cousin Timoth has seemed to disappear.
We decide to search a little for Timoth and ask Tanis to help us. It seems after searching that Timoth was in the camp but we then see tracks that are not anything we have seen. They seem to look like large cat footprints. It seems that Timoth walked off with this large cat. Eventually we get to the Marching Mountains where we begin to ascend them. The mountains are covered with trees. Eventually after an hour Timoth’s tracks stop. Tanis makes the assumption that this thing is more than a mere cat because it can transform into a Centaur and convince a young Centaur to follow it.
Leon is able to figure out that this cat is a magical beast that is able to see in the dark, can wisdom drain through a touch, and is called a Lamia. It doesn’t like to fight up close but can do so if needed, it can also turn into a Centaur, it isn’t particularly resistant to magic, and it is faster than your typical centaur. It typically lives in temperate deserts, which actually is what the land to our east is and is likely where the creature is heading.
Eventually we start to take some forced march damage but we do eventually catch up with the Lamia and Timoth. By this point it is starting to get dark and the only light is the moonlight.
As the battle starts Tanis’ swords just appear in her hands. She never actually drew them.
Vanemuine starts out by shooting a firebolt at the Lamia and does decent damage to the Lamia. Tyrrox charges up with his lance and pierces the Lamia in its flank. Leon then shoots his blast which does decent damage to the Lamia. The Lamia then dropped Timoth ran and casted the spell mirror image creating eight mirror images of itself. Vanemuine then casts a firebolt at one of the mirror images doing decent damage and it causes the image to vanish. Tanis then charges at an image and takes out that image. Tyrrox charges a second time and takes out another image. Finally Leon shoots an image which is actually the real Lamia and does enough damage to take it out.
After looting the corpse we find a gnarled ball of ivy and vine, a flask of some oily substance. Timoth seems to have been suffering from massive wisdom damage. The night goes fairly uneventful.
Heading back we have to head back down the mountain until we reach the camp. It takes us some decent time to get there. Timoth is very upset at the fact that his mental ability has been drained. We try to explain to him that my father can restore the ability damage.
Once back Tyrrox approaches Kezzryn and ask him to heal the ability damage. However the spell needed to heal this ability damage is only restoration, not lesser, so we will need to find a cleric to heal the ability damage. Seems Timoth will have to come with us to get healed. However we convince Tanis to come with us so that once Timoth is healed Tanis can escort Timoth back to the Centaur camp.
The trip back to Darromar goes uneventful and we get back in about a day to a day and a half. At the church Vanemuine tells the priests that someone touched us and hurt us. The priests begin to punish themselves, but do end up healing both Timoth and Tyrrox. After being healed, Tanis and Timoth head off back towards the forest.
Moving on, we head to Myratma and do a forced march to do so. Tyrrox is very tired once getting to the town and goes to rest while Leon turns in the quest for the Owlbears to the Ripley’s traveling zoo. We then turn in the quest and are rewarded a total of 18,000 gold or 4,500 each.
There are two quests available. Og! The Smasher needs back up dancers and offers a magical set of gloves that make you stronger. The other quest is to protect a woman who needs protection from people she fears will harm her before her dancing. This quest rewards a belt and slippers. We accept both quests as a group.
Need magic items identified in the next session that we obtained this session!!!

Based on my memory I think you did good in chronicling all the important events down in this post here. If I remember something else later I'll post it right here.

I call Shananigans. Tyrrox would never give into a half-orc's barbarious dancing methods. It's graceful dancing, or one can promptly suck a grass root.
Just giving you a hard time. I probably would have danced as Og! wanted but certainly not be happy about it. Overall looked like a fun session though.

Heh, suck a grass root. Sounds like something Tyrrox would say. That's pretty cool.

Session 11 Sunday August 23rd
Okuni is missing as we start the session. Leon turns in the man that attacked him and Torgeth to the local police force. Torgeth waits for Leon to get back before continuing the search for Okuni. Once Leon gets back Torgeth informs him that Okuni is missing. Leon flies up in the air and cannot spot anything, but upon searching in an alley, Torgeth finds Okuni lying down on the ground on her back and there is a bloody wound in her neck. She is alive but barely. Torgeth then pops a healing totem to heal her back to stability status and regains consciousness.
Okuni says that Sue did this, and Torgeth screams out “LEON!” Leon comes into the alley and sees Torgeth propping Okuni up. Apparently Okuni was told that Helena is named Sue. Tyrrox, Og! And Vanemuine accidentally walk into town and hear Torgeth shout Leon and walk into the alley to hear Leon refusing that he has a wife. Tyrrox demands to know why Leon’s wife would try to kill Okuni, but Leon repeats that he is not married. Og! Ends up walking away frustrated after trying to get Tyrrox to come back to the dance competition, but Tyrrox says there is a more pressing matter here.
Leon and Torgeth end up getting into a squabble after Leon calls Torgeth a dirty digger. Leon makes an intelligence check and realizes that Helena does not fight with daggers and does not sneak either.
Torgeth decides that Leon has not yet given him a reason to not trust him so he puts his hammer away. We as a group also notice that some parts of her clothing are charred. We do recall that Mialia from the very beginning and the half orc used fire elementals and a flaming hammer respectively, but the wounds to Okuni were done with what appears to be dagger(s) not a fire elemental or hammer. Tyrrox and Vanemuine go back to the town square to head to the dance, and see Og! Arguing with people. Tyrrox, Vanemuine, and Og! Head back to practice the dancing. Torgeth continues to protect Okuni who decides to continue to watch people.
Leon goes on a search to find Helena and discovers them on the beach searching for something. Leon tells Helena what happened to Okuni and that Helena is being sought after for murder. Helena and her group appear to be looking for a wedding ring that their contact lost fishing.
Helena and Leon continue to talk about what to do about Okuni but decide to wait for now, so Leon decides to help Helena’s group to search for the man’s wedding ring. Leon questions the man who tells him that he put the ring down on a big flat rock while he fished, and eventually at one time noticed that the ring was missing. Leon deduces because of the way the man casts that the man probably ate the ring because he hooked the ring, and when he caught a fish, the fish ate it and he ate the fish.
The group decides to swim out to where the man was casting to find the ring, but have no success. Leon then tells the man that he should check his stool for the ring. The man then says that he hired guild members to do this and forces the other group to search for the ring.
While this is going on Tyrrox and Vanemuine continue practicing dancing, and Okuni goes to the dance signup sheet and asks Torgeth to check up on another competitor, but Torgeth refuses at first, but eventually agrees. Torgeth heads over to a room where the competitor is staying. He disguises himself as a flower delivery man.
Tamuril refuses the flowers, so Torgeth then knocks down the door and throws the flowers at Tamuril. The other elf in the room with Tamuril in full plate points his glaive at Torgeth and asks him to leave. Torgeth refuses and breathes his cold breath at the man. Tamuril hides under a bed and the man with the glaive asks why Torgeth is attacking them. Torgeth doesn’t seem to respond and the battle continues. At one point in the battle Torgeth critical misses and the bed that the woman is under falls on him when he tried to lift it up. Then Torgeth throws the bed at the two and eventually kills both in a brutal act of murder and then pillages their belongings and jumps out of the window flying down to the ground. Once at the poop, the group makes Faelar check it and finds nothing. Faelar then wipes his hands off on his bed sheet and then throws it away because he realizes he can’t wear a dirty bed sheet. Back at the dance studio we are dancing when a couple men break through the studio door. These seem to be some of the same people that Og! was arguing with in the town square. A battle breaks out between Tyrrox, Vanemuine, Og! and the invaders. Two more attackers enter the building shortly into the battle. Most blows are exchanged between Og! and Vanemuine while Tyrrox charges past enemies striking very hard as he goes. Eventually another man appears and shoots an eldritch blast at me and it is very similar to what Leon attacks with. After charging the warlock, Tyrrox notices that there seem to be two of the warlocks in the room now. It seems that the warlock has created an illusion of himself and Tyrrox slashes at the illusion and hits it so hard that he deduces that it is an illusion. The warlock teleports again, and attempts to back out of the room, but again it’s unsure if he or his clone backed out. Tyrrox goes after the warlock that went outside the building only to figure out that it is also the clone. The warlock then again teleports creating a third clone and we are still unsure which version is really the warlock. The warlock then casts an ice wall to close us into the building and runs away. Og! then falls asleep after the battle and the rest of us head off.
Leon continues to go around with the other group searching for the wedding ring, and Faelar presents his lower half to Leon for making him search through the feces. Leon then continues to search gulls nests and ends up finding the ring with Helena. Finally they return the ring to the man and collect their reward and wrap a towel around Faelar.
Leon and Faelar end up finding a kilt shop named McAngus’ in town. Leon haggles with the man that runs the shop for the gear and traded a great axe for a great sword.
Once we re-join the group Okuni gives an evil stare at Leon and Helena. Torgeth haggles with a shop keeper to sell the equipment from Tamuril and her brother. Okuni asks Torgeth how the competition is doing and Torgeth explains that they are dead. We all sleep for the night and the next day is the dance competition. Tyrrox and Vanemuine go one more time to Ogs! Dance studio to practice and head to the competition after doing so. The reward for winning is 20K gold and a flying carpet.
Tamuril is first, who doesn’t show of course. Second is Tanya, who also doesn’t show. Leon notices that various people in the crowd are staring at each other eerily and strangely. Erisha is the third and she is wearing a belly dancing costume. She does an Arabic type of dance and does a very very good dance style. One armed group of people clap for Erisha and the other groups shake fists. Mizuki is the fourth dancer who seems to have a stone at the beginning of the dance and as she starts the stone disappears. She dances well but not as well as Erisha. Auric is the fifth dancer and first male. He isn’t good as the previous do. The sixth dancer, Summer, doesn’t show up. Seventh is Millie and she dances very bad. The group that clapped for Auric also claps for her. Eighth is Don Flamenco and he dances decent but still not as good as some of the others. Maegor is the ninth and he is a surprise entrance to the competition. He is tan and has black hair, and he is just doing it for fun. He isn’t the best but also isn’t the worst. Veldred is the tenth dancer and he is ok at dancing. Larin is the eleventh dancer, Chris, and he dances pretty well but still not the best as the first two. Twelfth is Chantal and he dances about as well as Chris. Thirteenth is Raina and her dance is decent. Fourteenth is Candace, who doesn’t seem to have a crowd of armed cheerers. Fifteenth is Okuni who dances a slow dance and is suggestive; she dances well and wows the judges. Tyrrox and Vanemuine and sixteenth and Og! the smasher. Og! starts to break dance and actually breaks stuff by throwing chairs and goes into the crowd throwing people and breaking seat chairs. Tyrrox almost breaks the stage because of his large weight. Tyrrox notices that there are a lot groups of races out in the crowd that are all armed. Tyrrox also notices that the Warlock we fought is way in the back of the building. Basically this breaks out into a riot once Og! starts breaking stuff in the building. Leon also notices the man that he turned over to the authorities is also in the crowd with full armor and gear.
One of the judges grabbed some gold and ran back stage. Tyrrox notices that this gold is from Calimshan and has the picture of the sultan on it. Eventually some of the dancers enter the stage wielding weapons and the riot turned into a massive battle. There are roughly 20 to 30 people in this place that all seem to be involved in this battle.
Erisha’s scimitar bursts into flames. It is likely that she is the one that tried to kill Okuni and disguised herself as Helena while doing so. The battle lasts quite some time, but eventually the battle ends after the warlock disappears yet again and Erisha also runs away. Though those two got away there is a lot of death and chaos. Session 12 Sunday September 6th
Starting out Leon, Vanemuine, and Torgeth fly out of the tent and head towards the Gambling Ghost. Tyrrox also runs off that direction too to meet up with the group. Once we meet up Leon tells us to head to Darromar and Leon will meet up with us. Vanemuine and Torgeth head towards Darromar on the carpet while Tyrrox has to travel on foot.
Leon heads up north by himself to try and find Helena and her group. However, at first his search attempts fail several times. Eventually Leon does find the group much closer to the city than he thought.
Leon notices that Helena isn¡¦t with the group. Garm, the group¡¦s half-orc monk mentions that she went off to the woods to do her business but hasn¡¦t been back and she left five minutes ago.
Leon heads into the woods and sees two Helena¡¦s staring at each other. Leon is able to determine which one seems to be a fake and fires a blast at her doing significant damage. The damaged Helena shouts, ¡§Oh, why did you do that?¡¨ Leon then starts to doubt whether or not he attacked the right Helena, and a short battle starts out.
The Helena Leon attacked draws a dagger and attacks the other Helena. The non-damaged Helena tumbles by the damaged Helena and tries to attack her but misses. Bobo, the female Gnome ranger moves up to attack the Helena that Leon attacked and hits. The battle continues to go on with Leon calling the rest of Helena¡¦s group for backup. The Helena that Leon believes to be the real Helena takes quite a beating and ends up running towards Leon for cover. Bobo also gets beat up really bad after the good Helena runs away and he moves up in her place. At one point in the battle the bad Helena disappears and reappears invisibly behind the good Helena. Good Helena is able to get away before she gets hurt. Eventually the bad Helena surrenders, and Leon asks the good Helena what to do who tells him to kill the bad Helena, so Leon does so. It seems that Helena doesn¡¦t recognize this woman at all. Leon checks the body and finds that the comb, which turned into a hat after she died, the armor were magical so the group grabs them and runs out of town.
Leon proceeds to put on the hat and takes on a disguise of Mordecai, the guy we brought back the gryphon eggs for. Leon is able to convince Helena¡¦s group to leave town with him in the carriage.
While Tyrrox and Vanemuine are traveling, Torgeth is still unconscious from the riot in the tent. While moving, Vanemuine sees very high in the sky something fly over. It did have wings, but couldn¡¦t tell if it was a bird or something bigger. Continuing to travel Tyrrox sees a man standing in the direction we were running. It¡¦s the man from the riot that was getting shot but never bled. He has black hair, yellow eyes, tan skin, and is maybe 18 or 19 years old. He has short pants, a vest with no shirt, a bracer, and is leaning on a spear waiting for me.
Tyrrox begins talking to the man who seems to want to talk to Torgeth, but since Torgeth is unconscious Vanemuine refuses to allow the man to look at Torgeth. The man who introduces himself as Maegor asks us to give him Torgeth, who he promises he will return to us safely. Finally we allow the man to follow us, but the man wants to head back towards the town, and Vanemuine and Tyrrox are not very keen on that idea at all. Maegor talks about how he wants to go to a cave roughly 20 miles away from the city. Tyrrox does a fantastic job of stalling Maegor by telling him stories of Krakens and other nonsense. Eventually Tyrrox and Vanemuine agree to go with Maegor who gives us his spear as collateral.
For roughly 2 hours we head North West, about 20 miles north of Myratma to a cave as he suggested. Eventually Maegor leads us to a beach where he tells us that we have to go under water to get to this cave. Tyrrox is very cautious about all this water traveling, but Maegor assures us that we will be ok. When Maegor casts bear¡¦s endurance on all of us it actually brings Torgeth back to life with two hit points. Tyrrox is convinced that Maegor is a sea hag, and Vanemuine is convinced that Maegor is a merman. Maegor is getting very upset at us calling him names. We do follow Maegor into the cave underwater as he suggested would happen.
As we enter the cave we see a big cavern, a big ten foot platform ahead to the right carved from stone. To the left is a mound of gold coins. Maegor asks us to put Torgeth on the platform. Eventually we do decide to put Torgeth on the platform. The platform heals Torgeth to full and Tyrrox tells Torgeth what has been going on. Torgeth is skeptical about all the craziness that is resulting from Tyrrox and Vanemuine. Maegor creates a table of magically created food and goes over to a corner with Torgeth to discuss something. Torgeth seems indifferent about what they are saying at first. For a second Tyrrox seems to see a tail appear and disappear and Torgeth comes back much quieter, but there is no tail on either Torgeth or Maegor.
Maegor then leads us out of the cave and we are feeling pretty good from the feast that Maegor created. Finally we head back east away from the beach, hills, and Myratma.
As we are heading on we end up running into Leon and the others ahead of us in the carriage. Faelar runs back to us shouting ¡§Freedom,¡¨ but stops attacking once he sees its Tyrrox and Vanemuine. After meeting back up we continue traveling onward as a group.
During Garm¡¦s watch Vanemuine, who only needed four hours of sleep, sees what appears to be a dragon flying around the camp. Vanemuine tells Garm what he sees and wakes up Leon and Helena. He tells them what he sees. Leon looks up and sees the white dragon and he gets a little paler.
A battle breaks out between the group and the white dragon that starts the battle by circling the camp from roughly 110 feet up in the air. Garm goes over to Torgeth and wakes him up. The dragon shoots out his cone of cold hitting several group members. Leon and the others fight back with various tactics making use of as much fire as they possibly can, which the white dragon is vulnerable to. The dragon eventually goes for Leon because of the mass damage Leon ends up doing to the dragon. With the dragon on the ground, Tyrrox charges at it using his lance dealing a lot of damage. Bobo jumps on Tyrrox and jumps off as Tyrrox charges to hit the dragon. Sadly Bobo misses and the dragon does not and bites down on Bobo. Tyrrox continues o move through the dragon using spirited charge. The dragon then goes up into the air and spits another cone of cold at us. The only party member to avoid the cold is Tyrrox and Vanemuine. As it flew up before the cone the dragon drops Bobo and Bobo dies from the cold and falling damage. Vanemuine begins to elevate the carpet by sayings its magic word, Macadamia. Finally Leon shoots a blast at the dragon knocking it out of the sky and dropping Torgeth free. Vanemuine proceeds to blast the dragon more and drops the dragon well into dead. ļ Torgeth goes up to the dragon and hacks at it cursing at it calling it a Tiamat worshipper.
Since it is now dawn we decide to keep marching towards Zazesspur and hope to find a cleric that can do something about Bobo. It takes a day of uneventful travel to get to Zazesspur. We decide to mount the dragon head to the front of the carriage and drape the skin of the dragon over the top of the carriage. Tyrrox stays with the carriage and guards it while Leon, Vanemuine, and Faelar go and look for a cleric to resurrect Bobo. All three actually manage to find one at churches of Tyr, Helm, and Faelar finds one dedicated to the Drow. The group decides to go to the church of Tyr to try to revive Bobo. The cleric agrees to do so after attesting to her dignity and a 5000 gold donation. Leon, Helena, and Tyrrox find a leatherworker that will customize two masterworked studded leather armor suits for Helena and Bobo. Leon then discovers that there is a custom magic item mage named Laffy Kilos. We start by asking for five healing belts for our group and Helena. Also a magic boost to Tyrrox¡¦s armor that will allow Tyrrox to sleep in his armor with no penalties and also suffer no penalties from forced marching, and a wand of cure moderate wounds. Also we upgrade Vanemuine¡¦s armor to make it magical and horseshoes of speed for Tyrrox which adds 30 to his speed.

Session 13 Sunday September 27th • Torgeth ends up finding a tavern called the Smiling Centaur. This inn is run by a centaur and is designed for many different creatures. • In particular there is actually a tentacle-like creature sitting at a table with eight mugs. • Torgeth goes in and asks for the strongest drink in the inn. The drink is called the sickly wraith. o The drink tastes pretty bad Torgeth drinks it and asks for a different drink called the sizzling succubus. • Torgeth then goes over to Tyrrox who had come in, talked to the tavern kraken and sat down in a seat designed for a centaur. • Torgeth gives Tyrrox a sickly wraith, which drinks it without a problem. • Torgeth then drinks a sizzling succubus and feels a bit anxious. • Torgeth leaves and heads to a whore house, and Tyrrox eventually leaves the tavern after telling Berdack, the centaur owner that he should expand the place into an inn. • Ultimately, we end up at the Winsome Repose Inn, which is a four story inn except for Torgeth, who spends the night at the whore house. • The next couple days go uneventful. • Tyrrox picks up his gear and gets the horseshoes equipped and runs out of the town calling everyone rude and waits for the rest of the group to get outside of town. • Leon talks to Helena who tells him that her group is going to the lower part of the town for a guild mission. • Tyrrox claims that these people are crazy and waits outside of town for the other guild members. • Outside of town, Torgeth begins to throw pebbles at Tyrrox, and then Leon shows up wanting to know why we are outside the town. o Tyrrox explains that the townspeople annoy him and begins to shout at Torgeth which causes Leon to walk away. Tyrrox almost runs over Noj’s character, Thallatos. • Torgeth and Tyrrox then run off after Leon in a race, but Vanemuine actually gets there first on the magic carpet. • The decision is made to head to the guild of the town where there are two missions. o Stop the pirates, where we have to defend the people of the town from pirates. This is an open mission in which several people have signed up for already. o Break in is where we have to get into the house in a way that can be duplicated. o We decide to start with the pirate mission, and also meet up with Thallatos who has also signed up for the mission. • We meet around back of the guild where we see a young elf, Nym, talking to a child sized man made of rock who is his companion. Leon figures out that this is an earth elemental. There is also a poorly kept man that looks a lot like John Lovitz and is dressed in ordinary traveler clothes. Also there is a half elf, Cassius, which is older looking. Also there is a human holding a scythe and some light armor and a robe and a man with him dressed in all black; Noj and his companion. Finally a few more travelers come one of which smells horribly and has a bison with him. • Eventually Tyrrox and Thallatos see a white horse with a pink mane with a man wearing pink full plate riding back where we are. His name is Rodney Lockheart and he looks like a bigger Fabio. • As we are talking there is a poof of smoke and a Gnome appears with wild gray hair and a big beard with purple eyes, Zing. This Gnome looks very old and weak. He is wearing several fancy looking items that almost look too heavy for him. o Through mangled speak that has mixed tenses, we gather that there is a village north of the Starspire mountains that is being attacked by pirates, and he tells us that many people have died unless we defend these people. o Finally we head off towards the village. o Some chatter between PCs and NPCs takes place on the way there. o The Gnome tells us that he sees up there and teleports assumingly there. o It takes us about a day of traveling to get there. • As we travel, we see a couple people shadowy-like lurking behind us. Thallatos is able to see that they are hobgoblins, in fact. • Night falls and we are still in the mountains. • We decide to make camp and the assumption is that we will be attacked by hobgoblins, so Thallatos announces this to the group as a whole. • We are attacked throughout the night by a lot of hobgoblins. • The battle goes relatively easily as the hobgoblins are not match for 13 well prepared warriors. • The rest of the night goes uneventful and we get to the town the next day. The town seems like an ordinary coastal town with nothing special going on and no pirates attacking. • Thallatos searches for the Gnome and fails at finding him. • Leon also fails at finding the Gnome. • The mayor of the town, Pillsbury, is confronted by Thallatos regarding the pirate invasion that is not taking place. The mayor is not amused at Thallatos, and thinks he is playing a joke at first. • Torgeth enters into a bar in the town and demands the strongest drink. The man in the bar is very afraid of Torgeth, but eventually warms up to him and accepts him there, but is still very wary of him. • Tyrrox and Thallatos search the beach looking out at the sea waiting for these pirates that don’t seem to come. • Later in the afternoon we see a large sail ship with three smaller sailing ships coming towards the port with an all red flag with a white skull and a gold hammer and cross under the skull and it is undoubtedly a pirate fleet. • Thallatos goes up to various town people informing them that the pirates are attacking. Torgeth, who is now with John Lovitz, Arthur, head towards the shore. Thallatos begins informing the other NPC party members as well who also head down to the shore. • Once we all get back to the shore, we all notice that the ships have gotten somewhat closer. • Tyrrox has the best spot of all the group members as they spot at the pirate ships and notices that one of these pirates appear to be a woman that is issuing orders, and a bluish looking person. The woman has a red jacket, gold trim and black pants. The blue person is a woman as well and she looks like a light blue skinned with white hair elf. This blue elf is wearing a white dress that is blowing in the wind and is starring off aimlessly. • Leon shoots another eldritch blast that hits the mother ship this time, but it is unclear how much damage is done to the mother ship. • The battle commences, but the first half consists of us preparing as the pirates approach the coast. Leon continues to fire eldritch blasts at the mother ship. • Tyrrox and the others notice a big bulky figure with something sticking up from its back appear next to the captain on the mother ship. • The blue elf from the mother ship, which is holding a trident, launches a fireball and Leon aims an eldritch blast at the big brute on the mother ship. • Leon is actually able to shoot a hole through the sail of the ship while Torgeth and Vanemuine float towards the mother ship using the flying carpet. o Their goal is to grab the captain and toss her into the water. o They do get shot at a couple times by the blue female elf mage. o They ray of enfeeblement the captain and in doing so provoke an attack of opportunity from the big brute orc-like creature with white eyes with no iris which hits for a lot of damage taking almost a third of Torgeth’s hit points away. o Torgeth and Vanemuine are then able to capture the captain. They threaten to throw her into the water while she is manacled unless she calls off the attack. • Leon dives into the water and then swims towards Tyrrox and puts his handy havard’s sack over his head so that he can cast a scroll to make Tyrrox fly. o Tyrrox begins to fly up out of the water and flies towards the mother ship ideally trying to smash a hole in it with my lance as a bullet to sink the mother ship. o Tyrrox actually is able to critical hit the ship and successfully breaks through the ship entirely and starts to sink it in a totally awesome feat of flying centaurness. o Yes a flying centaur just smashed through a pirate ship. o Tyrrox is then able to take out the orc who jumps into the water to save the captain who jumped into the water off of the carpet. • Torgeth and Vanemuine continue to interrogate the crew, but the blue elf appears as a gaseous form close to the flying carpet o The blue elf eventually reforms and threatens Torgeth and Vanemuine to let the captain go or they’ll get it. o Vanemuine and Torgeth are able to take out the blue elf after she lightning bolts them. o The captain then jumps into the water and is re-captured by Torgeth. • Thallatos and his crew are fighting a small boat that has landed down the shoreline. Thallatos is able to eventually take out the group with the help of undead owl bear skeletons that he summons. • The session ends after the captain is recaptured by Torgeth. • X.P. 3150 plus petition

Session 14 Sunday October 11th
As the session starts the battle is over and the captain is our custody; Torgeth to be specific. Thallatos and Leon converge after the battle and decide to search the captain ship for survivors or dead bodies.
The wizard, Arthur, believes that Thallatos is a sorcerer and believes that Leon is a psionic. Once we are all back at the shore we all hear fighting coming from the town and we all head towards the town and help the villagers fight pirates who have made it into the town. We first encounter some pirates at an intersection that are looting stores and breaking windows. Vanemuine moves on the carpet with Torgeth and the captain to a total of 30 feet and fires a Kelgore’s firebolt. Tyrrox charges through several of the pirates, while Thallatos summons skeletons to aid in the battle and surrounds several of the pirates. Leon fires eldritch blasts at the pirates until we take out all of the them.
After the battle we look further down the street and notice a much larger battle taking place in which out other NPC members are fighting a much larger number of pirates and seem to be overwhelmed.
The battle is a huge mass of people in a huge mass fighting each other. 2 of the 4 remaining NPCs are at the fight. The paladin, Rodney Lockheart, and Biff Cliff, the druid, with the bison are missing.
During the battle Leon finally critically hits one of the mooks for the first time in the entire campaign…twice!!
Eventually Thallatos arrives at the battle with new risen skeletons, but the battle is already over.
Cassius is the half elf that was in this battle and introductions take place between everyone NPCs and PCs mainly regarding our group meeting Thallatos.
After this second battle we all continued onward to a third battle. At this third battle are the pink paladin Rodney and the druid with the bison Biff fighting lots of more pirates, but we also notice in the background behind the pirates is one lone man that does not look like a pirate and is dressed in black and blue with a dark grey cloak, a scarp wrapped around his face, with blue eyes, and a big wide brimmed hat. He also has metal gauntlets with blades, and a falchion. Also the other pirates seem to want to have nothing to do with this guy and actually move away from him despite he is one of them. This man doesn’t even acknowledge the pirates around him.
Eventually Tyrrox bases this man and challenges him to fight, and whiffs at the first slash. The man turns to attack Tyrrox and misses, and then seems to turn transparent and all of Tyrrox’s attacks pass right through him. The battle takes quite a long time from the sheer number of pirates and the fact that the leader is extremely difficult to hurt. Eventually it took all of us ganging up on this man in order to take him out. After a little punishment the man turns invisible and Leon sees him sink into the ground.
Thallatos when talking with Rodney explains that his minions are not able to be cured and tells him that his minions have a grave disease.
Eventually this enemy that sunk into the ground reappears out of the ground and Rodney charges at the man and smites him and actually takes the man out rather affectively.
Rodney and Thallatos discover that Cliff is still alive so they load him onto Rodney’s horse and ride him back to town to be healed.
As we go to leave the town, the time traveling Gnome appears and confuses the living hell out of us with his crazy talking and finally convinces Tyrrox to run away screaming at how insane these town people are.
The Gnome leads Leon and Thallatos into a building where there are people in a caravan who supposedly saved food for the starving people of Tethyr. This was supposed to be a top secret mission. Because we have stopped the pirate attack, the caravan will likely make it to Darromar.
Thallatos makes a proposition to have the group protect the caravan as they head towards Darromar.
The session ends after the conversation ends between Thallatos’ imp and Leon as Leon tries to convince the imp to sue Thallatos for freedom.
