Garm is a half-orc monk, an odd combination to be sure. He is the leader of his adventuring party, which consists of himself, Helena, Bobo, and Faelar.
They made the group's acquaintance when Leon, Tyrrox, Vanemuine, and Torgeth had taken on a mission as substitute testers for the Silver Shield Mercenary Guild. Though the two groups grew closer as they continued to adventure together, Garm was hesitant to make friends with Leon. He views Helena like a little sister and is very protective of her, and was not at all sure that the lawyer-turned-warlock was a good influence for her. Still, he didn't interfere and has merely kept his eye out for trouble.
Garm is level-headed and calm, somewhat unusual traits for a half-orc. He's a competent leader but finds even his zen-like patience put to the test sometimes, especially by Faelar.

In late 1375, under the guidance of Nym Eveningfall, Garm began developing a bit of divine magic, and became a Sacred Fist of Ilmater, a warrior order of the Faerunian god of suffering. This allowed him to pair his quest to perfect his body's mortal limits with the divine might granted by Ilmater, and also to provide some much-needed healing magic to his companions.
Using his new abilities, Garm created several bottles of holy water to give to Leon, as both a way to mend strained relations between them, and in case they would be helpful in Leon's return to Iltkazar.
