I created this new board under the Game Info section called the Tethyrian Monthly Inquirer. I have the board settings so that you all should be able to view it, but not reply to topics or create new posts in there. The reason for his is that Tethyrian Monthly Inquirer, or TMI for short (haha), is an in-character newspaper that is published once a month in Tethyr. Its first issue came out during the time skip, so it mentions events that happened prior to the time skip.
This section serves several purposes. First, it gives me a place to practice a little creative writing while developing the game world a bit more. Since individual "articles" take only a few minutes to write, I can make them in my free time here and there. Second, it allows me to share details about what's going on in the campaign world in places you guys might not see first-hand, and allows you to have some more idea of what else is happening. Since you've gotten to be pretty major players in Faerun recently a lot of the articles will also be about you, which allows you to see how others might perceive you and your actions. Third, it's fun and it lets me do something vaguely game-related when I don't necessarily have the time to do actual work on the game.
Let me know what you guys think about this idea. Also keep in mind that this now exists in the game, so you can interact with it in whatever ways you might like to do, such as answering ads, contacting the publisher, placing ads yourself, etc.

So Failure... I mean Faelar won the boulder throwing contest huh? Score one for the non-civilized folk! Hey Thallatos, maybe you should send one of your undead friends to babysit the queen's childrem. That should straighten them out don't you think? Not that we have the spare people, or time, but should someone go investigate that earthquake and the damage in Waterdeep?

I bet the earthquakes magical nature ties it to tethyr's supernatural drought. You're right Tyrrox, We are short on extra people on time to check such things. Leon is that a racist term i'm detecting?

I'm enjoying the new issue of the Enquirer. I eagerly await the reporters coming to the castle to check things out. I dont mind showing them around if I am there, though its probably something Thallatos should be involved in. Silly mages trying to do a druid's work. Were we responsible for the Verdant Spiral fire? I dont remember if we were involved with that one or not. No crime syndicate stands a chance with us around. Maybe I'll donate some gold to the Priests of the Crying god. Better yet maybe we should just work more on ending this famine.

The Verdant Spiral tavern fire was not you guys. Bringing the perpetrator to justice was a guild mission, in fact it was the one that got Goroc killed.
To briefly recap it, Goroc found out (and the rest of you guys later did this mission as well) that a half-orc named Morg had gotten a bit rowdy while drunkenly retelling some adventuring stories, and swung his flaming warhammer around, which caused him to accidentally start the tavern on fire. You guys tracked him north into the Wealdath forest, where you walked into an ambush by a scouting party of gnolls and nearly all died. But you got Morg, and you even got to sell off his stuff.

Ah ok, but yeah I don't remember that at all. Was it more recent when Tony took back Goroc, or was it earlier on in the campaign?

Ok. Initially I though it was when Goroc went off on his own and got killed but guess not.

I forget the exact session, but you guys had just come back to town after completing another mission, and everybody but him went to the inn to sleep. And even though he was at like half HP and had few spells left, he went ahead and set off from the city by himself and without telling anyone. I honestly couldn't tell whether he just wasn't thinking or was deliberately committing character suicide.

That's it, after that interview with toshiro I HAVE to defend this guy in court.
He helps us with no demand of reward, and the king arrests him to save face. Its ridiculous, he did nothing illegal.

Sounds like we may have a possible side mission to look into regarding the missing warship.
