Cyrvisnea is the co-leader of the horde of monsters that seized control of the city of Murann in 1370, and which has now invaded Tethyr. While not as massive as her mate Sothillis, she is still quite large and a fearsome combatant in her own right. She seems to possess magic far beyond that of a normal ogre mage.
The party encountered Cyrvisnea when they attacked Sothillis's camp, hoping to stirke off the head of the invading horde. She attacked Leon, trading lethal spells back and forth with him. While it appeared at first that she had been forced to retreat, she soon reappeared and resumed their duel. In the end, Cyrvisnea was victorious, slaying Leon with one of her powerful death spells.

Out of character, I should mention that I have no idea how this name is meant to be pronounced. The closest I've got is something like "sir-VIZ-nee-ah" but I don't particularly care for it nor feel confident that's the intended pronunciation. Honestly I probably should have just changed it to something else instead of using the canon name, but now I've stuck with it in my brain for long enough that it would feel weird to change.

Cyrvisnea was slain at the castle of Monguldarath, having badly wounded herself by bouncing a disintegrate spell off of Leon's spell turning, and then suffered a surprise hurricanrana from Patrick off the castle wall, and subsequently being clobbered in the head with siege crab claws.

I googled her name to see if it was taken from somewhere else to see if there was a way to gleam proper pronunciation.
99% of the results were about her, apparently she was name dropped in the original Baldur's Gate as "that bitch Cyrvisnea"
There was one article that wasn't about her, but it seemed to be from some other game so it's most likely lifted from FR and unhelpful.

There are a lot of names in the Lands of Intrigue books that look like somebody just picked a bunch of semi-random letters without regard to how they're meant to be pronounced, but Cyrvisnea is one of the worse ones for sure.
